Troy L. Brooks, Sr., 66, of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Troy was born in 1953 to J.D. Brooks, I and Gladys Odell Brooks. Troy is survived by his wife; Lou Brooks, their children; Johanna Brooks, Tina Matula DeAnda, Troy Brooks, Jr., Stephen Matula, Marc Matula, Terry Matula and R.P. Matula, also their thirteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; J.D. Brooks, I and Gladys Odell Brooks, brother; J.D. Brooks, II, and sisters; Jerry Blackwell and Sue Ferguson.  There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel.
