Obituary
Vaughn Brian Karkos passed to be with our Lord on Friday, July 9, 1921 at the age of 69. He was born on Tuesday, September 25, 1951 in Lisbon Falls, Maine to Joseph Francis, Jr. and Gloria Dawn Karkos. He was proceeded in death by his nephew, Ryan Joseph Karkos, grandparents, Robert "Bamp" and Edith Mae Porter, Joseph Francis "Zedo", Sr. and Helen "Buba" Karkos, also his parents Joseph and Gloria Karkos.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life Diana Karkos, siblings, Kevin (Kim) Karkos of Dallas, TX, Jan (David) Hales of Guyton, GA, Children Chad (Jenie) Karkos of Bourbonnais, IL, Nicole and Kellyn of Austin, TX, step-children, Gwen Wood, Otto and Jesse Hagan, all El Campo, TX, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Vaughn was employed with the City of Victoria for 15 years and retired as the Distribution and Collections Manager. We will forever cherish our time on earth with this beautiful soul and we hope he will BBQ for the Angels, the meanest brisket you've ever made.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service to be announced at a later date.
