Virginia Mae Gerald, 92, of Edna passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born to Anton and Adela Barta Kubenka in Moulton, Lavaca County, Texas on September 19. 1927

Virginia is survived by her two sons; Lanny Ross Gerald, Sr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and David Ronald Gerald and his wife Cathy of Humble, Texas, grandchildren; Sarah and Emily Gerald and Lanny Gerald, Jr., one great-granddaughter; Kiera Gerald, her special niece and caregiver; Delores Stancik, her full time caregivers, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and her sister; Lony Popp, and sister-in-law; Carolyn Kubenka. She is preceded in death by her parents; Adela and Anton Kubenks, husband; Clyde Henry Gerald, son; Clyde Anthony Gerald, brother; Tony Kubenka and sister; Sylvia Clark. 

Per the family request, there was a graveside service on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 9:30 am at Memory Gardens of Edna with Pastor Larry Green officiating.
