William "Bill" Henry Mercer, Jr.

William "Bill" Henry Mercer, Jr., 83 of Edna, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Bill was born on Tuesday, September 20, 1938, in Victoria to William Henry Mercer, Sr. and Mattie Marthiljohni Mercer.  Bill has been survived by his wife, Yvonne Mercer, daughter, Nicole Mercer, son, Mike and his wife Brooke Mercer, brothers, S.A. Mercer and his wife Cecelia, Marvin Mercer and his wife Glenda, John Mercer and his wife Ann, and Pat Mercer and his wife, Jacque. Also, his awesome grandchildren; Campbell McKenzie Mercer, James Henry "Hank" Mercer and Scarlett Olivia Mercer.  He has been preceded in death by his parents, W. H. Mercer, Sr., Mattie Mercer, and his stepmother, Thelma Mercer, also his daughter, Rosalyn Renee Mercer Kresta. Pallbearers will be Brannon Revel, Dale Mercer, Patrick Mercer, Sam Bullard, Nathan Bullard and Hank Mercer.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Edna, beginning with visitation at 9:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am with Brother Robert Krause officiating, with interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations may be made to the WH & Thelma Mercer Memorial Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 888, Edna, TX 77957.
